Webquest #1 - Our town

INTRODUCTION

Hello dear PenPal friends, this is a research about our town. 

So the aim of this project work is to elaborate an atractive and complete slideshow (powerpoint) together of our town.


TASK

Your task is to collaboratively (two students from Portugal and two students from Turkey) create a slideshow (power point) about both your towns.

You should refer to:
  • Historical facts;
  • Monuments and places of interest;
  • People's lifestyle and daily routine;
  • Your school;

PROCESS

  • Search on dependable and local websites;
  • The Portuguese students will SHARE a digital slideshow through GMAIL so that all four students can then discuss, prepare and accomplish their presentation together about their town;
  • The Portuguese students will also SHARE their digital slideshow with their teachers: João (f1470@escolasdestantonio.edu.pt) and Yunus (kandemir1213@hotmail.com);
  • Don't forget to include images/photos or even videos;
  • Don't foget to include bibliography and credits;

ASSESSMENT

Your work will be assessed according to the quality and the use of English by both teachers.

Criteria:
Content - 50%
Organization - 20%
Vocabulary and grammar - 30%



CONCLUSION


You don't need to send your work to the teacher because we will be following your project all along the way.
